Romond has written the back cover notes for the new books of two friends: Susanna Rich and Lois Harrod. Susanna's book, Television Daddy (Finishing Line Press) and Lois' collection, Furniture (Grayson Books), will both be released later this year.

Edwin Romond has been nominated for a 2008 Pushcart Prize for his poem, "Coming Home in 1956" which appeared in Exit 13.

Romond has also been nominated for a 2008 Pushcart Prize for his poem, "To My Lifelong Friend Going to Prison" which appeared in The Sun.

The Editorial Board of The New Jersey English Journal has dedicated the 2007 issue to Edwin Romond.
